I finished "The School Story" by Andrew Clements.  It's about Natalie and her best friend, Zoe.  Zoe thinks Natalie's novel is good enough to be published but they're only 12.  She thinks using a pen name will help.  Natalie decides to be Cassandra Day and Zoe decides to be Zee Zee Riceman,  Natalie's agent.  Zoe comes up with the idea because she doesn't want to ask for any favors.  They have Ms. Laura Clayton, their English teacher, as an advisor.  She's in their publishing club.  The book is called "The Cheater" and it's a school story.

This book is about how Natalie published her book without people finding out that they were kids until the publishing party at the end.  I liked it because they succeed.  I like the editing process in the letters.  There was a copy of the novel with notes that said how you could improve it and the things that were wrong.  I liked the surprise at the end where they found out that Natalie was Cassandra Day.

You should read this book if you like school stories.
