We went to the park this evening.  We played on the ships.  And after a while, the sun came back up and the wind stopped blowing.  So we went swimming.  Part of the water was warm and part of it was cold.  Away from the dock with the picnic tables was where the water was warm.  Closer toward the dock where the picnic tables are was cold.  I sat down in the water.  With the ships, we pretended we were driving the ships, and out in the water we just played around.  Then we washed our feet in the freezing cold water that comes out of the well.  We read in the back of the van.  Mom sat right next to me behind the front passenger seat- only there was nobody in it.  And we read Farmer Boy.  We finished the second half of "Sunday" and read "Breaking the Calves" where he trained them to pull a hand sled.
